Biography

Dr. Anastasia Stelse teaches business communication in the BBA program in the WSB and works with the MBA and Master’s programs as the MBA & MS Communication Coordinator.

Prior to joining the Business Communication team, Dr. Stelse taught professional and technical communication courses in business, engineering, and health sciences at the University of South Florida. She has additional experience working as a technical writer on contract for the Federal Aviation Administration, and in literary and environmental publishing.

Dr. Stelse’s interest in how genre expectations and storytelling are shaped by changing patterns of consumption and new media informs her focus on preparing WSB students as adaptable communicators ready to lead in an ever-shifting world. At the end of her class, students can communicate to diverse audiences and present complex information in an easy-to-follow style.

She holds a B.A. from the University of Evansville where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Honors Program, an M.F.A. from American University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi’s Center for Writers.
